2022 Ranken Tech Summer Scout BSA Camp
A summer camp designed specifically for middle school and high school aged Scouts. Ranken Technical College will provide qualified faculty members to train and assist Scouts with merit badge projects, training space, project materials, safety gear, and lunch.
Date: June 2 and 3, 2022
Time: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Where: Ranken Technical College, 4431 Finney Ave, St. Louis, MO 63113
Fee: $45 per Scout – Maximum capacity 15 Registration fees are non-refundable
Merit Badges & Prerequisites – June 2
Plumbing – Scouts should acquaint themselves with health & safety and how it pertains to plumbing. Research and name 5 things a plumber does. Also, name a plumbing company in your area, (maybe one your family uses when needed).
OR
Woodwork – Research hazards, first aid responses, and safety practices to qualify for the Totin’ Chip. Complete requirement #7 and write a report about what you learned including biographical information about the professional you interviewed.
Merit Badges & Prerequisites – June 3
Architecture –Tour your community and sketch the building you admire most. We’ll begin our camp with a group discussion about the sketches presented.
