Your student is starting college, and you don’t have to navigate the journey alone.

Starting college is a big transition, not only for students but for the family members and supporters who are cheering them on. Our Virtual Parent Orientation is designed to help parents, guardians, family members, and other supporters better understand what students can expect at Ranken and how they can encourage their success throughout the journey. While anyone is welcome to attend, this session is especially valuable for families of first-time Ranken students.

During this 60-minute virtual session, you’ll learn about:

• Important policies and procedures
• Academic expectations
• Student support services
• Residential life
• Job placement resources
• Program requirements
• Enrollment timelines
• Emergency notifications
• Student privacy under FERPA

You’ll also gain insight into the many resources available to help students succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

The orientation will conclude with a live Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions and connect with members of the Ranken team.
