The Electrical Industry Advisory Board has spoken of the importance of students in our electrical program being proficient with multiple skill sets, and exposed to various automation platforms. Siemens is helping our students broaden their knowledge base by bringing Siemens S7-1200 PLC and their HMI platforms into our Electrical Automation Technology and Control Systems Technology classes.
“We are very excited that this equipment will be used to train the future workforce. The skill set that the students will gain from working with this equipment is much needed in our area.” said Rich Thyer, Account Manager Industrial Sales, Frost Electric Supply.
