Ranken Technical College Announces Inaugural Giving Day

Annual donations to provide scholarships and resources for students

ST. LOUIS (NOV. 3, 2020)–Ranken Technical College is proud to announce its first ever Giving Day, on November 19, 2020. The donations received will support the College’s General Scholarship Fund. Since its founding, providing an accessible technical education has been at the forefront of Ranken’s values. Scholarship support has been instrumental in making that happen.

November was selected as the month for Giving Day in honor of the College’s founding by David Ranken Jr. in 1907. Mr. Ranken’s generosity and vision for creating an institution that celebrated the value of labor established Ranken Technical College as a premier technical school, both locally and globally.

“I was very honored to learn that I was selected as the recipient of one of your scholarships and I am deeply appreciative for your support,” said Jordan Weiler, a student in Electrical Technology. “Not only do these scholarships help us to achieve our goals as students, but also shows what we can offer to students in the future. I know that someday I will be able to help students achieve their goals just as you helped me.”

Ranken Technical College, a leading Missouri technical college, is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Eighty percent of  Ranken students receive financial aid to help cover tuition, books and tools.
