Ranken provides both Certificates and Degrees across many of our technical programs. See what your General Education requirements are based on your degree selection.

Certificate of Technology

Ranken’s General Enrollment for many programs. This hands-on technical program is recommended for students who are interested in the technical training for employment within their field of study. Students who start in General Enrollment may change to Degree Seeking after their enrollment has begun.

Associate of Technology

Ranken’s Degree Seeking Enrollment. This hands-on technical program includes an additional block of General Education courses and is recommended for students who are interested in the technical training for employment with additional management and communication training. Students who start as Degree Seeking cannot change to General Enrollment (Certificate of Technology) after their enrollment has begun.

Associate of Science

Ranken’s Secondary Degree Seeking Enrollment. This hands-on technical program includes an additional block of General Education courses with an added Math & Science focus and is recommended for students who are interested in the technical training for employment with additional management, communication, and mathematical/scientific training. Students who are interested in an Associate of Science are recommended to begin in an Associate of Technology program, adding their final Math & Science courses toward the end of their enrollment at Ranken. Students who start in the Associate of Science program cannot change to General Enrollment (Certificate of Technology) after their enrollment has begun.

 

Bachelor of Science

Ranken’s Bachelor Degree Programs are available for Applied Management and Architectural Technology.
