Ranken intramurals are organized by the Residential Life Office and offered each fall and spring semester. Participation is free and open to current Ranken students and employees.
Intramurals give Ranken students and employees opportunities to improve their physical and mental health through exercise. Participation in physical activity is a great way to relieve stress. Many Ranken students played sports in high school and this gives them a chance to continue being involved in athletics. Intramurals are also a great way to fellowship with other Ranken students and employees.
Previous and current intramural team sport offerings have included flag football, 3 on 3 basketball, volleyball and softball. Some past recreational sports offerings include a billiards tournament, chess tournament, and poker tournament.
Intramural leagues and tournaments are held weekday evenings Monday through Thursday and usually start at 4:30 p.m. or 5:00 p.m.
To find out what leagues and tournaments are currently being offered, visit the Residential Life Office located on the second floor of Walker Hall or email them at [email protected].
