Plumbing, 1990
“I grew up in this neighborhood and attending Ranken Technical College helped me overcome obstacles.”
As a young man with great potential, Darren White sought an environment that would foster change and maximize his talents. He enrolled in Ranken Technical College, graduating in 1990 with his sights set on a successful career in the plumbing business.
Today, White is a master plumber, master drain layer and president of his own company, Soldiers Plumbing, Inc. in Florissant, MO. Having demonstrated dedication to living the American dream, White is described by his own employees as a leader equipped with an unwavering work ethic.
“Mr. White is someone who has motivated me to always put my best foot forward,” said employee Alexandra Smith. “He brings to all of his activities energy, enthusiasm and commitment. All the characteristics he possesses have led to a great organization that I am glad to say I am a part of.”
White is a committed father and community steward. Despite a busy schedule as the owner of a growing company, he recognizes the importance of education and sets aside time to shepherd his own children in their studies.
