Events and Programs
Ranken is dedicated to providing alumni with opportunities to continually grow and learn as well as to visit and reconnect with their department on campus. Events are open to alumni and their families and held throughout the year on and off campus. If you are unable to attend scheduled events, we are happy to provide a personal tour for you, your family and friends whenever your schedule permits. The campus is growing and changing, come back often! Contact alumni@ranken.edu if you'd like to schedule a tour.

Alumni Entrepreneur Workshops
Ranken Graduate Dan Martin speaks at an Alumni Entrepreneur Workshop
We know that our graduates’ superior work ethic and top-notch technical training make them excellent employees and successful and innovative business owners.
Ranken initiated the Alumni Entrepreneur program to offer assistance to any alumnus taking the next step in their career. By walking in the path of other successful graduates, alumni can learn about goal setting or starting a business. Hear from fellow alumni about how to get started, the pitfalls and best practices of starting out on your own. If you are considering starting up your own business or taking over an existing one, these workshops provide valuable information to get you on your way. Workshops are held two times a year, and best of all, they are free to any graduate of Ranken!

Alumni Reunions
Graduates and faculty of the HVACR department at a recent reunion
Mingle with fellow classmates or network with graduates from all departments, tour the campus, learn something new in your trade, hear and see the newest materials and equipment used today. These gatherings are a great way to reconnect with former classmates and rekindle old friendships.
Alumni Night Out
Can’t always get back to campus for events? Opportunities off-campus are available throughout the year. Ranken graduates get together for a social night out, including sporting events and dinners. Come participate and you can reconnect with fellow classmates and hear what’s new on campus.
Annual Car Show & Alumni Reunion
Are you a car enthusiast? Would you rather look than show? The spring car show has something for everyone! Ranken hosts an annual car show and alumni reunion for car enthusiasts and their families. Sponsored by the Ranken Automotive Club, this event continues to grow and provides an excellent opportunity to meet with old friends and browse 27 different classes of cars expanding over many years and generations. This event has something for everyone in the house. It is a great alumni, student and family event.

Car and Campus Calendar
Ranken alumni are also asked to submit their car pictures for an annual Car and Campus Calendar. If you have a special car with a history, a unique restoration story to tell or a car that is just a show stopper, we would like to include you in the calendar. Featured cars are selected by a committee of the Alumni Leadership Council. Calendars highlighting information about the campus and programs including the featured cars are available for 15-months beginning in October through December each year for $10. Calendars make a great gift and support various programs on campus.
