As new technologies continue to emerge and influence the workplace, Ranken Technical
College’s Industrial Electricity and Electronics Division offers students
the expertise and hands-on training to meet the growing needs of companies with
electronic control and distribution systems. From installing and maintaining
basic electrical systems to operating an entire facility through an electronically
controlled network, the IEE division offers students countless opportunities.
This division’s three programs—Control Systems Technology, Electrical
Systems Design Technology and Electrical Automation Technology — share
the same first-year curriculum, allowing students to develop a solid knowledge
of the fundamentals of electricity and electronics before deciding which career
path they would like to pursue.
A combination of hands-on skills, practical classroom learning and an emphasis
on professionalism, makes up the Ranken experience. And, this experience pays
off — 98 percent of Ranken graduates have jobs in their fields within
six months of graduation. Plus, all Ranken graduates enjoy free lifetime job
